    Featuring a completely new, customizable, modular design, the EOS C700 meets the demands of today’s productions – from feature films to documentaries to episodic dramas. The EOS C700 and EOS C700 PL cameras feature a Super 35mm 4.5K sensor1 with wide dynamic range, and can be ideal for productions requiring 4K UHD TV or 4K DCI cinema deliverables. The EOS C700 GS PL features a Super 35mm 4K sensor with a global shutter to enable the distortion-free capture of subjects moving at high speeds.     Canon 5D Mark IV - opinii personale - specificatii, video, imagini

    Dupa cum stiti a aparut noul aparat foto Canon 5D Mark IV. Ca posesor de 5D Mark III am asteptat multa vreme aceasta veste. Noua versiune MKIV reprezinta un pas destul de serios in special pentru sectorul video. Analizand specificatiile si materialele aparute pot sa va spun ca este un upgrade merituos.
    In specificatiile tehnice se gasesc cateva detalii care merita toata atentia:

    • Dual Pixel Raw - posibilitate de microajustare AF in editare, bokeh shift - vezi exemplu video mai jos;
    • corectie avansata ghosting, flare, CA;
    • DPAF (Dual Pixel CMOS AF) auto focus in modul video - deocamdata firma Canon detine suprematia in acest domeniu avand un AF de incredere folosit pentru aparatele C300 MKII, 1D X MKII, 7D MKII, 80D, 70D;
    • cu siguranta va avea un dynamic range mai bun decat predecesorul - asa a fost cazul pentru 1DX MKII;
    • sensibilitatea ISO (max.102400) ridicata cu un pas peste MKIII - ramane de demonstrat;
    • ecran touch screen;
    • filmare DCI 4K 24/30fps (standard cinema mai lat decat 4K UHD TV - rezolutie orizontala mai mare), Full HD 1080p - 60fps, 720p - 120fps (slow-motion) - aici intervin diferentele fata de 1 DX MKII care este mult mai capabil 4k - 60fps, 1080 - 120fps;
    • HDR video :) pana acum posibil doar prin Magic Lantern;
    • Auto ISO poate fi customizat in detaliu, astfel va puteti feri usor de situatiile in care aparatul alege o valoare ISO pre mica ducand la o compensare cu un timp de expunere mai lung decat este necesar;
    • in sfarsit functia Timelapse (intervalometru) inclusa in soft;
    • buton nou pentru toggle puncte auto-focus - eu am avut o experienta nefericita cu 5D MKIII, la utilizarea indelungata a joystick-ului acesta s-a blocat ....bine ca era in garantie;
    • WiFi+NFC si GPS integrat. Prin WiFi veti putea trimite fisiere sau controla aparatul de pe un telefon mobil.

    Reparatie patina blit aparate foto DSLR Canon
    Recent am avut o problema cu unul dintre aparatele foto (Canon 5D MKIII), blitul/transmiter wireless extern nu se declansa de fiecare data. Am incercat mai multe blituri si problema a persistat.
    Am avut o surpriza cand am dat cautare pe internet "Canon 5d MK III hotshoe fix", nu eram singurul cu aceasta problema ba chiar este una comuna.
    Din cauza folosintei indelungate suruburile care fixeaza patina blitului de aparat s-au desfacut putin, suficient cat sa nu mai asigure contactul permanent.
    Mai jos aveti un videoclip cu metoda de reparatie. Aveti nevoie de o trusa de surubelnite pentru mecanica fina.

    Pentru inceput camerele Lytro Cinema vor fi disponibile doar pentru inchiriere catre marile studiouri cinematografice - similar cu modul de lucru al firmei Panavision.

    Puterea de calcul necesara pentru gestionarea si editarea unui asemenea nivel de date video va fi serioasa. Momentan pot sa ma gandesc la o singura varianta ca si configuratie - cerinte minime de sistem Nvidia Quadro K6000 (24 GB memorie video).

    Un exemplu de sistem poate fi cel de mai jos cu patru placi video Quadro K6000(11520 CUDA Cores), 2 procesoare Intel Xeon 2650v2 (2x 8 Cores @ 2.6 GHZ) placa de baza SUPERMICRO MBD-X9DRG-QF-B, 128 GB RAM, 2TB stocare SSD, sursa 1500W Enermax.

    Prima aplicatie care va suporta acest tip de material video va fi Nuke urmand ca firma Lytro sa extinda suportul catre alte aplicatii cum ar fi Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Smoke, Fusion si altele.

    Din pacate pana acum aparatele foto Lytro nu s-au descurcat prea bine in vanzari si nici in teste. Multe dintre fotografiile realizate sunt destul de soft iar sensibilitatea la lumina slaba lasa de dorit in comparatie cu aparatele foto DSLR sau mirrorless. Au reusit sa ocupe o nisa in domeniul foto deoarece punctul de focalizare al acestor fotografii poate fi ales ulterior declansarii.

    Lytro Cinema at NAB 2016 Las Vegas
    Firma Litro a adus noua camera la expozitia tehnica NAB 2016 din Las Vegas. Dupa cum se vede camera are dimensiuni serioase avand racire activa. Vine cu propriul server care transfera datele catre Google Cloud la o viteza de 300GB/s.
    Lentila din aceasta camera este 30-250mm cu diafragma constanta F/2. La demonstratia din Las Vegas au reusit sa obtina o diafragma de F/0.3 in post productie (efect adancime de camp DOF).
    Rezolutia teoretica a materialului video este de 21MP, aceasta fiind cu mult peste standarul 4K.

    Lytro unlocks a new level of creative freedom and flexibility for filmmakers with the introduction of Lytro Cinema, the world’s first Light Field solution for film and television. The breakthrough capture system enables the complete virtualization of the live action camera -- transforming creative camera controls from fixed on set decisions to computational post-production processes -- and allows for historically impossible shots.
    “We are in the early innings of a generational shift from a legacy 2D video world to a 3D volumetric Light Field world,” said Jason Rosenthal, CEO of Lytro. “Lytro Cinema represents an important step in that evolution.     Designed for cutting edge visual effects (VFX), Lytro Cinema represents a complete paradigm shift in the integration of live action footage and computer generated (CG) visual effects. The rich dataset captured by the system produces a Light Field master that can be rendered in any format in post-production and enables a whole range of creative possibilities that have never before existed.
    “Lytro Cinema defies traditional physics of on-set capture allowing filmmakers to capture shots that have been impossible up until now,” said Jon Karafin, Head of Light Field Video at Lytro. “Because of the rich data set and depth information, we’re able to virtualize creative camera controls, meaning that decisions that have traditionally been made on set, like focus position and depth of field, can now be made computationally. We’re on the cutting edge of what’s possible in film production.”
    With Lytro Cinema, every frame of a live action scene becomes a 3D model: every pixel has color and directional and depth properties bringing the control and creative flexibility of computer generated VFX to real world capture. The system opens up new creative avenues for the integration of live action footage and visual effects with capabilities like Light Field Camera Tracking and Lytro Depth Screen -- the ability to accurately key green screens for every object and space in the scene without the need for a green screen.

    Lytro Cinema represents a step function increase in terms of raw data capture and optical performance:
    • The highest resolution video sensor ever designed, 755 RAW megapixels at up to 300 FPS
    • Up to 16 stops of dynamic range and wide color gamut
    • Integrated high resolution active scanning
    By capturing the entire high resolution Light Field, Lytro Cinema is the first system able to produce a Light Field Master. The richest dataset in the history of the medium, the Light Field Master enables creators to render content in multiple formats -- including IMAX®, RealD® and traditional cinema and broadcast at variable frame rates and shutter angles.
    Lytro Cinema comprises a camera, server array for storage and processing, which can also be done in the cloud, and software to edit Light Field data. The entire system integrates into existing production and post-production workflows, working in tandem with popular industry standard tools.     “Life” the first short produced with Lytro Cinema in association with The Virtual Reality Company (VRC) will premiere at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) conference on Tuesday, April 19 at 4 p.m. PT at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Room S222. “Life” was directed by Academy Award winner Robert Stromberg, Chief Creative Officer at VRC and shot by David Stump, Chief Imaging Scientist at VRC.
